Senior QA Engineer (Manual + Automation Testing)

About the role

Averroes AI is seeking a remote Senior QA Engineer to ensure the quality of its AI‑driven visual inspection solutions. You will combine manual and automation testing to validate web applications, AI workflows, dashboards, and APIs.

Key responsibilities

• Perform manual testing across web apps, AI pipelines, dashboards, and APIs.
• Execute end‑to‑end tests of new features before releases.
• Identify bugs, edge cases, UX issues, and document them with clear reproduction steps and screenshots.
• Collaborate with frontend, backend, AI, and DevOps engineers to validate fixes and run regression suites.
• Contribute to improving release quality and QA processes.

Required profile

• 3–4 years of QA or software testing experience.
• Strong manual and exploratory testing skills with an eye for UX and workflow usability.
• Technical ability to understand APIs, logs, and system behavior.
• Experience with tools such as Postman, Jira, and GitHub.
• Excellent communication, attention to detail, and comfort in a fast‑paced startup environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
