Senior Sales Manager – Group & Catering

About the role

The Senior Sales Manager will lead the proactive solicitation and management of large group and catering opportunities with high revenue potential. This role focuses on driving revenue growth, upselling services, and ensuring exceptional customer experiences throughout the sales cycle.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, qualify, and pursue new group/catering business to meet personal and property revenue targets.
• Develop and execute tailored sales plans, creative event concepts, and upsell packages.
• Negotiate contracts and close deals using strong selling and negotiation skills.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless hand‑over and service delivery.
• Maintain market intelligence on competitors, economic trends, and demand patterns.
• Build and nurture relationships with existing and prospective clients through calls, FAM trips, trade shows, and community engagement.
• Deliver exceptional customer service to foster loyalty and repeat business.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED with at least 2 years of experience in sales, marketing, guest services, or related fields, OR a 2‑year degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel & Restaurant Management, or a related discipline.
• Proven ability to achieve revenue goals and manage complex sales opportunities.
• Strong communication and relationship‑building skills.
