Senior Software Quality Engineer

About the role

Quality Professionals (Q-Pros) is seeking a Senior Software Quality Engineer to strengthen its testing team across the Middle East and GCC. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring software releases meet the highest quality standards while collaborating with developers, analysts, and stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Review software requirements and specifications to identify gaps or ambiguities.
• Participate in the creation of test strategies, test plans, and test scenarios.
• Design and author detailed test cases for functional and non‑functional testing.
• Execute manual testing activities, covering both functional and non‑functional aspects.
• Report, track, and manage defects using tools such as Azure DevOps or Jira.
• Produce and distribute testing reports to keep stakeholders informed.

Required profile

• University degree in IT or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in software quality control and testing.
• Strong attention to detail and critical thinking abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Professional testing certifications are a plus.
