Senior Sourcing Merchandiser (Regional Operations)

About the role

The Senior Sourcing Merchandiser (Regional Operations) will lead vendor development and production activities across the region, ensuring timely delivery and quality standards that meet the RDC expectations. This role partners closely with technical, PQA and raw materials teams to align commercial decisions with operational execution.

Key responsibilities

• Train vendors on capacity planning using SAM and perform regular capacity monitoring.
• Support and drive lean initiatives, including workflow optimization and line layout improvements.
• Establish efficiency baselines and guide vendors toward long‑term strategic targets.
• Continuously improve internal and external processes and procedures.
• Collaborate with Technical, PQA and Raw Materials teams to meet commercial standards.
• Partner to resolve fabric or quality issues and manage bulk production tracking.
• Proactively identify high‑risk order problems and keep production on track through regular meetings.
• Provide recommendations on claim settlement options and resolve issues promptly.
• Review and evaluate vendor performance.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of production management and manufacturing processes.
• Experience in industrial engineering or lean manufacturing (a plus).
• Proactive problem‑solver able to manage multiple challenges.
• Excellent collaboration skills in a matrix environment.
• Demonstrated personal leadership and executive presence.
