Senior Structural Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Structural Engineer to join our Building Projects Design Management Office in Amman, Jordan. The role involves leading the structural design of complex building projects from concept through to completion, ensuring safety, efficiency and innovation.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee and manage the structural design process for large‑scale building projects from concept to completion.
• Develop and review structural calculations, drawings and specifications for various building types.
• Collaborate with architects, MEP engineers and contractors.
• Ensure compliance with local and international building codes and standards.
• Manage project timelines, budgets and resources.
• Mentor junior engineers and support their professional development.
• Conduct site visits to assess structural integrity and provide recommendations.
• Implement innovative structural solutions to improve performance and sustainability.
• Participate in client meetings and presentations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• 3–11 years of experience in structural engineering, focusing on building projects.
• Proven track record of managing and delivering large‑scale construction projects.
• Advanced knowledge of structural engineering principles and practices.
• Strong project management, leadership and communication abilities.
• Fluency in English; Arabic language skills highly desirable.
