Server – Food & Beverage

About the role

The Server will assist guests with a wide range of queries, handle complaints according to established standards, and ensure a clean, professional appearance throughout each shift. The role requires delivering prompt, confident service while supporting the Food & Beverage department to exceed guest expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Assist guests with inquiries and resolve complaints following company procedures.
• Report for duty as scheduled, maintain a tidy appearance, wear the correct uniform and name badge, and sign attendance records at the start and end of each shift.
• Provide excellent guest service by identifying needs and responding quickly and effectively.
• Work across all areas of the Food & Beverage department, adhering to departmental policies and standards.
• Train and coach new staff alongside the Manager and Lead Servers once fully competent.
• Offer professional, friendly, and engaging service, including detailed menu and beverage knowledge.
• Follow safety, sanitation, and outlet policies when handling food and beverages.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Previous service experience is an asset.
• Computer and system literacy.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast‑paced environment.
• Team‑oriented mindset with a focus on guest needs.
• Good English language skills; additional languages are a plus.

Required skills

• Opera (hotel management system) or a related system.
• Computer literacy.
