Service Desk Administrator II (ADPE)

About the role

We are looking for a Service Desk Administrator II to lead our ADPE service desk operations, providing senior‑level technical support to military and civilian customers. The role combines hands‑on desktop support with supervision of ADPE Technicians I and training responsibilities.

Key responsibilities

• Proactively manage ADPE service desk operations and supervise ADPE Technicians I.
• Act as escalation point for difficult or controversial calls.
• Provide senior‑level technical support to ADPE staff, IMOs and customers.
• Install, configure and maintain DOD‑approved communications software and security tools on government computers.
• Configure network printers, join PCs to Microsoft Active Directory domains, and manage Outlook configurations.
• Troubleshoot Windows OS, Microsoft Office 2007, TCP/IP, network connectivity and Microsoft Exchange Server issues.
• Repair and maintain desktop and laptop hardware.
• Train ADPE technicians on system baselines and network troubleshooting.

Required profile

• Legal eligibility to work in the host country, including visa and driver’s license.
• Experience providing desktop support in a secure (DOD) environment.
• Ability to supervise and train junior technicians.
• Strong customer‑service orientation for both military and civilian users.
