Shop Manager

About the role

The Shop Manager will lead daily store operations for a leading lifestyle retail concept, ensuring exceptional customer service, sales growth, and profitability while maintaining brand standards across the shop environment.

Key responsibilities

• Detect, anticipate and report on customer needs, market trends and competitor activity.
• Greet customers, provide assistance, resolve complaints and foster loyalty.
• Maintain up‑to‑date store licenses, certificates and employee documentation in line with local regulations.
• Oversee receiving processes, inventory activities, cycle counts, stock movements, transfers, damaged items and shrinkage.
• Analyze hourly, daily and weekly sales performance, monitor top‑selling items and manage collection rotation.
• Place accurate orders, meet stock performance objectives and maximize sell‑out.
• Prepare staff schedules based on budgeted hours, traffic, sales targets and operational needs.
• Log commercial and operational information on provided platforms promptly.
• Manage the annual budget, monitor expenditures, optimise costs and report variances.
• Ensure shop image complies with brand standards, including cleanliness, displays and maintenance.
• Develop KPI reports on sales trends, inventory levels and team productivity.
• Process customer orders from placement to driver handover, coordinating with internal teams.

Required profile

• Proven experience supervising store operations and leading retail teams.
• Strong analytical ability to interpret sales data and inventory metrics.
• Knowledge of local licensing and employee documentation requirements.
• Budget management experience with a focus on cost optimisation.
