Spa Therapist

About the role

Marriott International is seeking a dedicated Spa Therapist to join its spa team in Aqaba, Jordan. You will deliver high‑quality massage and body‑treatment services while ensuring guest safety, comfort, and satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Provide massage services and body treatments (scrubs, wraps, hydrotherapy) using appropriate props and products.
• Assess guest needs and contraindications (allergies, high blood pressure, pregnancy) before each session.
• Maintain a clean, organized workstation and treatment rooms, sterilizing tools and handling linens.
• Promote and sell spa services and retail products, adhering to Marriott’s sales standards.
• Escort guests to and from treatment rooms and monitor their comfort throughout the service.
• Follow Marriott’s SOP for handling inappropriate guest behavior and report any safety incidents.
• Stay current with industry techniques and maintain required licensure.

Required profile

• Technical, trade or vocational school degree.
• At least 1 year of relevant spa or massage experience.
• State or regional massage license.
• No supervisory experience required.
• Ability to stand, sit or walk for extended periods and lift up to 10 lb.
