About the role
We are seeking a passionate Specialty Coffee Expert to elevate our coffee program. This position goes beyond brewing; it focuses on the science, craftsmanship, and standards that create an exceptional cup.
Key responsibilities
- Evaluate and source premium coffee beans from global origins.
- Maintain and enforce specialty coffee quality standards.
- Conduct cupping sessions and perform detailed quality assessments.
- Develop brewing and extraction protocols to ensure consistency.
- Support roasting profile evaluation and new coffee development.
- Train internal teams on specialty coffee knowledge, best practices, and standards.
- Monitor and guarantee consistency across all coffee offerings.
Required profile
- Strong knowledge of specialty coffee, bean origins, and industry trends.
- Hands‑on experience with coffee cupping and quality control processes.
- Familiarity with SCA (Specialty Coffee Association) standards and best practices.
- Passion for innovation, quality improvement, and continuous learning.
