About the role
This full‑time, on‑site position supports daily restaurant operations by managing inventory, coordinating purchases, and ensuring stock is stored and rotated correctly. You will work closely with kitchen, bar and management teams to keep supplies flowing smoothly.
Key responsibilities
- Manage inventory and stock movement across all restaurant departments.
- Prepare and follow up on purchasing orders with suppliers.
- Receive, inspect, and organise deliveries.
- Monitor stock levels, identify shortages or overstock situations, and maintain FIFO standards.
- Track expiry dates, ensure proper storage conditions, and handle wastage or damages.
- Assist with monthly inventory counts and stock audits.
- Prepare inventory and purchasing reports for management.
Required profile
- Experience in inventory management, purchasing or storekeeping, preferably in hospitality or food service.
- Strong organisational and time‑management abilities.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in handling stock.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced team environment.
Required skills
- Basic computer literacy and reporting skills.
- Knowledge of FIFO and food‑storage standards.
