Storeroom Technician

About the role

The Storeroom Technician supports rations supply and warehouse operations for V2X, working closely with the Storeroom Supervisor and Dining Facility Supervisors to ensure 24/7 food service readiness.

Key responsibilities

• Manage subsistence handling, storage, inspection, receiving, inventory control and housekeeping in accordance with the Performance Work Statement.
• Ensure compliance with Tri‑Service Food Code, AFI 34‑239, AFMAN 34‑240 and HACCP procedures, maintaining accurate records of all food received and stored.
• Monitor and safeguard government and contractor property, maintain a safe and sanitary work environment, and perform escort duties as required.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent, valid U.S. passport and driver’s license, and a current U.S. Secret or Interim Secret clearance.
• Minimum three years of experience in food service or warehousing of perishable and non‑perishable subsistence.
• Willingness to obtain forklift certification (up to 10K) and Serve‑Safe certification, and ability to operate manual‑transmission vehicles.

Required skills

• Forklift operation (up to 10,000 lb) and Serve‑Safe certified food handling.
• Knowledge of Tri‑Service Food Code, HACCP, AFMAN 34‑240, and inventory control systems.
• Ability to work under pressure in a wartime or high‑tempo environment.
