Storytelling Trainer

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Storytelling Trainer to design and deliver a dynamic 3‑hour interactive workshop. The trainer will create all workshop materials, guide participants through practical exercises, and help them craft compelling narratives they can use in their own work.

Key responsibilities

• Develop a complete 3‑hour workshop agenda with clear learning objectives.
• Prepare presentation slides, case studies, worksheets, and any supporting materials.
• Deliver the workshop in an engaging, participant‑focused format.
• Explain storytelling structure, audience targeting, key messages, and narrative development.
• Facilitate group discussions, practical activities, and provide constructive feedback.
• Adapt content to the participants’ skill level and organizational context.
• Coordinate with the organizing team to understand participant needs and expected outcomes.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a trainer, facilitator, or storytelling professional.
• Demonstrated ability to design and deliver workshops or training sessions.
• Background in storytelling, communications, journalism, media, advocacy, or content creation.
• Strong facilitation, presentation, and verbal/written communication skills.
• Experience working with youth, civil society, community groups, or diverse audiences is preferred.
• Arabic and English language skills are an advantage.
