Supervising Engineer (Arabic) – Water Treatment Projects

About the role

The Supervising Engineer – Arabic will lead on‑site engineering activities for water treatment construction projects in Mbout. This full‑time, on‑site position ensures that daily construction operations follow approved designs, specifications, and safety standards while communicating effectively in Arabic and English.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily construction activities, coordinating contractors, technicians, and site staff.
• Review technical drawings, specifications, and construction documents.
• Manage site inspections, quality control, and health‑safety compliance.
• Track project progress, prepare technical and progress reports.
• Resolve engineering issues that arise during construction.
• Support resource planning and mentor junior engineers and site personnel.

Required profile

• Strong background in civil, mechanical, or environmental engineering with experience in water‑treatment or related infrastructure.
• Proven ability to supervise construction activities and enforce engineering specifications and safety standards.
• Fluency in Arabic and working knowledge of English for reporting and coordination.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Environmental, or related); professional certification is a plus.
• Commitment to health, safety, and environmental compliance on construction sites.
