Supply Chain Officer – API (Chemicals)

About the role

Hikma Pharmaceuticals is seeking a Supply Chain Officer for its API (chemicals) plant in Amman. The role supports production planning, material procurement, and logistics to ensure timely delivery of high‑quality pharmaceutical products.

Key responsibilities

• Plan production lines in line with customer orders and material availability.
• Create and manage purchase requisitions for required components.
• Source, contact, and follow up with suppliers for production‑plan components.
• Coordinate purchase orders with the centralized Procurement team.
• Qualify key starting material vendors and handle claim reports related to QCIRs.
• Monitor stock levels, reorder points, and update master data as needed.
• Prepare shipping documentation, including clearance, invoices, and packing lists.
• Forecast inventory needs and ensure materials are readily available.
• Resolve minor issues escalated from buyers to maintain cost‑effectiveness.
• Maintain relationships with customers and ensure smooth shipment execution with Operations and Quality teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience in production planning, purchase requisition creation, supplier coordination, and inventory management.
