Supply Engineering Team Lead

About the role

Crystalia Glass LLC is seeking a Supply Engineering Team Lead to head its Supply Engineering group. Reporting to the CTO, you will oversee a team of four engineers, driving procurement efficiency and supporting production across the United States, Europe, the Middle East and Asia. The role blends leadership, process improvement and hands‑on supply engineering.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and develop a team of four Supply Engineers, assigning tasks and monitoring deadlines.
• Coordinate procurement operations, launch production, and ensure hardware and material availability.
• Plan inventory levels, forecast procurement needs and review technical drawings to create accurate material lists.
• Source, evaluate and negotiate with suppliers worldwide, managing pricing, payment terms and delivery schedules.
• Monitor supplier performance, resolve quality, logistics and delivery issues, and drive cost‑optimization initiatives.
• Collaborate with Sales, Project Managers, Engineers, Estimators, Warehouse and Installation teams on engineering changes and material substitutions.
• Track engineering documentation and procurement changes throughout project lifecycles.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading supply engineering or procurement teams.
• Strong background in supplier management and cross‑functional collaboration.
• Ability to balance strategic process improvement with hands‑on engineering tasks during peak periods.
• Excellent communication skills for interfacing with internal stakeholders and external suppliers.
