Systems Administrator II

About the role

V2X is seeking a Systems Administrator II to manage and support Windows‑based servers, workstations, and applications in an Active Directory environment. The role involves troubleshooting, system upgrades, backups, and providing technical mentorship to both internal and external customers.

Key responsibilities

• Administer Microsoft Windows Server 2008 services including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, WINS, and print queues.
• Manage Exchange Server (2008 or higher) and Outlook Web Access.
• Maintain Microsoft System Center tools: SMS, MOM/SCOM, SCCM, and WSUS.
• Perform file server backup and restores using VERITAS Backup Exec.
• Conduct hardware maintenance on Dell, HP, LTO tape libraries, fiber switches, and SANs.
• Ensure antivirus and security compliance with US Army standards.
• Provide user account support, schedule shifts, and oversee employee appraisals and training records.

Required profile

• Active Secret security clearance.
• Relevant experience with Windows server administration and Microsoft System Center suite.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a host‑nation visa and driver’s license.
