Tailor – Guest Clothing & Uniform Services

About the role

The Tailor is responsible for maintaining the appearance and functionality of guest clothing and employee uniforms at our hotel in Aqaba. Working closely with Housekeeping and Laundry teams, you will ensure all garments are repaired, cleaned, and ready for use.

Key responsibilities

• Mend, repair, and alter guest clothing and employee uniforms using hand stitching, adhesive patches, or a sewing machine.
• Distribute clean uniforms to staff according to company specifications and record all inventory movements.
• Send damaged items to the appropriate repair location (in‑house seamstress, Housekeeping, or external vendor).
• Document guest requests for laundry, dry‑cleaning, minor repairs, and pressing.
• Inspect uniforms for damage, remove substandard items from circulation, and issue replacements.
• Follow all safety, security, and company policies; report hazards and complete required training.
• Provide courteous service to guests, including assistance for individuals with disabilities.

Required profile

• At least 1 year of related work experience in tailoring, garment repair, or uniform services.
• No high‑school diploma or GED required.
• No supervisory experience or specific licenses required.
