Technology Content Writer & Creator

About the role

MENA TECH, a leading technology and business media outlet in the MENA region, is looking for a Technology Content Writer & Creator to produce high‑quality editorial and marketing content in both Arabic and English. The role is editorial‑first, with additional responsibilities for social media, copywriting, and event coverage.

Key responsibilities

• Research, write, and edit technology and business news, articles, and blog posts in Arabic and English.
• Draft and edit press releases for regional and global technology topics such as AI, cybersecurity, consumer electronics, enterprise IT, and digital transformation.
• Ensure all content meets editorial standards for accuracy, clarity, and tone.
• Cover technology and business events, handling pre‑event preparation, live coverage, and post‑event reporting.
• Create and repurpose content for social media platforms, including short‑form videos, captions, scripts, and reels.
• Plan and execute social media coverage for events in line with publishing timelines.
• Write marketing, PR, and promotional copy for MENA TECH and its brands, maintaining brand voice across advertising, newsletters, and website content.
• Collaborate with editors, designers, and social media teams, using content management systems and AI tools to streamline workflows.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year of experience in content writing, digital journalism, or social media.
• Strong Arabic and English writing and editing abilities.
• Demonstrated ability to produce news articles and blog content on technology topics.
• Ability to work on‑site in Amman and manage multiple editorial projects.
