Threat Management Internship

About the role

We are seeking a fresh graduate to join our Governance, Risk and Compliance Department for a one‑year internship under the Zain Youth Program. The role focuses on monitoring, analysing and responding to cyber threats to protect our network and information assets.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor real‑time security offenses and events, performing initial analysis and investigation.
• Follow established protocols and playbooks to execute operational responses to cyber threats.
• Conduct threat‑hunting exercises to proactively identify malicious activity.
• Perform risk‑based technical assessments on identified vulnerabilities.
• Support incident response activities and documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical, electronic, network or communication engineering, network security engineering or a related field.

Required skills

• Practices of SIEM engineering.
• Knowledge of penetration testing and vulnerability assessment.
• Incident response practices.
• Network/security certifications such as CEH, CSA, Security+ (preferred).
