Trading Platform Engineer

About the role

Equiti is seeking a Trading Platform Engineer to support, maintain, and optimise its MetaTrader 4 (MT4) and MetaTrader 5 (MT5) trading infrastructure. You will work in a fast‑paced 24/5 environment, collaborating with traders, developers and IT specialists to ensure high availability, low‑latency performance and seamless system integrations.

Key responsibilities

• Administer, configure and optimise MT4/MT5 servers, gateways and plugins.
• Maintain low‑latency trade execution and overall system stability.
• Troubleshoot issues related to MT4/MT5, FIX API, MANAPI and liquidity bridges (OneZero, PrimeXM, FX Cubic).
• Apply security patches, updates and performance enhancements.
• Develop custom plugins, bridges and APIs for MT4/MT5 integration.
• Deploy monitoring and observability solutions and implement proactive incident detection.
• Enforce security best practices and manage user access controls.
• Provide Level 2/3 support, analyse incidents and drive continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Strong analytical mindset and quick learning ability.
• Deep understanding of trading platforms, liquidity bridges, FIX API, MANAPI and CI/CD automation.
• Experience working in a 24/5 trading environment.
