Trainee Engineer – Entry Level Design & Testing Role

About the role

Yokogawa is seeking a motivated Trainee Engineer to join its global engineering team. This position offers hands‑on training in design engineering, testing, and commissioning activities while supporting the company’s mission to drive sustainable industrial solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in a structured training program to develop technical competencies.
• Assist lead engineers with basic design tasks, including graphics generation and preparation of design drawings.
• Support cabinet design, wiring schematics, and related documentation.
• Take part in factory acceptance testing and contribute to site acceptance, commissioning, and start‑up activities.

Required profile

• Degree in Engineering (Instrumentation, Electronics, Electrical, or Process Control preferred).
• Academic performance of at least 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale.
• Strong teamwork spirit and good communication skills.

Required skills

• Knowledge of IT basics.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Applications.
