Trainer and Maintainer Specialist (Vehicle Sustainment)

About the role

MANTECH is looking for a motivated Trainer and Maintainer Specialist to join its vehicle sustainment team in Amman, Jordan. The role supports multiple families of vehicles worldwide under the Allied Logistics Engineering Capabilities Sustainment (ALECS) program, combining technical training delivery with hands‑on maintenance expertise.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and conduct training and development programs to improve individual and organisational performance.
• Create course curricula, training modules and instructional materials for technical training programs.
• Coordinate class arrangements, deliver training sessions and establish criteria for evaluating training effectiveness.
• Assess training needs and determine appropriate content.
• Stay current with information‑technology training trends, methods, new materials and techniques.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree with at least 4 years relevant experience, or High School Diploma with at least 10 years experience.
• Successful completion of a legacy or current TRADOC‑approved Army Instructor course (e.g., ABIC, ATRRS) or equivalent civilian certification.
• For wrecker training: current Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) and either three years wrecker experience or a recognized certification.
• Ability to pass a pre‑employment drug screening, hold a valid driver’s license for the work location, and possess a passport valid for at least one year beyond the start date.
• U.S. citizenship with an active Secret security clearance.
• Willingness to travel to various U.S. or OCONUS locations.
• Physical ability to lift 50 lb, work in high‑noise areas, and perform tasks such as bending, crouching and reaching.
