Training Officer – Vocational & Technical Programs

About the role

The Training Officer will oversee the day‑to‑day implementation of ONSUR’s Vocational and Technical Training Project in Amman, Jordan. The role covers beneficiary registration, attendance monitoring, coordination with trainers, documentation and reporting across three training phases.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor daily implementation of the training plan, ensuring adherence to schedule, curriculum and objectives.
• Coordinate beneficiary registration, maintain up‑to‑date participant records and file all related documentation.
• Collect and review attendance sheets, ensuring a minimum attendance rate of 85% where required.
• Maintain continuous coordination with life‑skills, embroidery, marketing and e‑commerce trainers to guarantee high‑quality delivery and availability of materials.
• Ensure training venues, equipment, supplies and logistical arrangements are ready in collaboration with the project team.
• Monitor trainees’ progress and outputs such as embroidery products, portfolios, business plans and digital marketing deliverables.
• Support pre‑ and post‑training assessments, satisfaction surveys and feedback collection together with the MEAL team.
• Coordinate the three‑month post‑training mentoring phase, providing bi‑weekly one‑on‑one mentoring sessions.

Required profile

• Experience monitoring training implementation and ensuring compliance with schedules and curricula.
• Strong organizational skills for managing beneficiary records, attendance data and training logistics.
• Ability to coordinate with multiple trainers and support post‑training mentoring activities.
