Utilities Technician

About the role

We are looking for a Utilities Technician to ensure the reliable, efficient and safe operation of our plant’s utilities equipment. The role follows IWS standards and Daily Management Systems to maintain basic conditions, detect abnormalities early and support continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine equipment checks, start‑up and shutdown procedures while keeping assets clean and inspected.
• Execute IWS Daily Management System routines – Cleaning, Inspection, Lubrication (CIL), Centerline (CL) adherence and Defect Handling (DH).
• Monitor key parameters such as pressure, temperature, flow and energy, taking first‑level corrective actions and escalating deviations.
• Document all activities, defects and checks in the designated system to ensure data reliability.
• Identify loss‑prone conditions, support root‑cause analysis and contribute to counter‑measure implementation.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience with HVAC systems (including chillers and AHU interfaces), central vacuum stations, compressed‑air plants, steam boiler and condensate networks, and dust‑filtration equipment.
• Able to monitor, trend and interpret pressure, temperature, flow and energy data and recognise early signs of abnormality.
• Proficient in following OEM operating and maintenance manuals and in communicating with technical support when needed.
• Consistent execution of IWS DMS routines and strong discipline in documentation and handover notes.
• Safety‑first mindset, teamwork and clear communication across shifts.
