Waiter – Guest Service Expert

About the role

We are looking for a friendly and attentive Waiter to join our Guest Service team at The Ritz‑Carlton Amman. As a key member of the food and beverage team, you will help create memorable dining experiences for our guests by delivering exceptional service with a smile.

Key responsibilities

• Set and arrange tables, ensuring a clean and welcoming environment.
• Communicate orders accurately with the kitchen and coordinate service flow.
• Interact with guests, take orders, serve food and beverages, and respond to requests promptly.
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas, supplies, and service stations.
• Handle menu information, verify items, and assist guests with menu questions.
• Perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 25 lb unaided and up to 50 lb with assistance, and move safely on varied surfaces.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• Less than one year of related experience in food and beverage service.
• No supervisory experience required.
• Ability to stand, walk, and work on sloping or uneven surfaces for extended periods.
• Commitment to safety, company policies, uniform standards, and professional appearance.
