Waitress/Hostess

About the role

We are seeking a friendly and professional Waitress/Hostess to join our hotel restaurant team. You will be the first point of contact for guests, delivering engaging service and ensuring a memorable dining experience.

Key responsibilities

• Provide a professional, friendly greeting and engaging service to all guests.
• Understand and execute the server’s tasks and outlet procedures.
• Handle shift end reports and operate the POS system accurately.
• Assist guests with food and beverage menu items, offering informative recommendations.
• Maintain knowledge of all menu items, garnishes, ingredients and preparation methods.
• Follow safety, sanitation and service standards at all times.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Required profile

• Previous service experience is an asset.
• Experience with a Point of Sale system is an asset.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Strong interpersonal and problem‑solving abilities.
• Highly responsible, reliable and able to work under pressure.
• Team‑oriented with a focus on guest needs.

Required skills

• Point of Sale (POS) system operation.
• Familiarity with Opera or related hospitality systems.
