Warehouse Assistant

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Warehouse Assistant to support our inventory and stock management operations. You will work closely with the Procurement and Logistics teams to ensure fabrics, handicraft materials and finished products are received, stored and documented accurately.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, label and organize incoming fabrics, raw materials, tools and finished goods.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and verify deliveries against purchase orders and specifications.
• Arrange stock by category, batch, colour or design while applying FIFO principles.
• Prepare and issue materials for approved requests, ensuring proper documentation.
• Conduct routine stock counts and assist with periodic inventory reconciliation.
• Monitor condition of stored items and report damaged, obsolete or slow‑moving inventory.
• Ensure cleanliness, safety and security of the warehouse, especially for sensitive textiles.
• Support internal and external audit requirements and comply with inventory control policies.

Required profile

• BSc in Industrial Engineering or a related field.
• Strong written and spoken English and Arabic.
• 0‑2 years of experience in warehouse or inventory control.

Required skills

• SAP experience.
• Inventory control knowledge.
