YouTube Video Editor – Remote Part‑Time

About the role

We are looking for a creative Video Editor to help launch and grow Jouza3tivity, a new YouTube channel that covers business advice, productivity, book summaries, Notion tutorials, and the journey of building the channel while running an existing business. The position is remote and part‑time, starting with 1‑2 videos per week.

Key responsibilities

• Edit 1‑2 videos weekly (initially 6‑12 min, potentially up to 30 min).
• Handle the full editing workflow: trimming, transitions, audio balancing, colour correction, and final polish.
• Adapt editing style to each series – storytelling for book explanations, motivational for business & productivity, instructional for Notion tutorials, and casual vlog style for the journal.
• Create and refine channel branding elements such as intros and outros.
• Occasionally design thumbnails using Canva or similar tools.
• Provide creative input on video tone and visual style.
• Collaborate via Google Drive, Discord, Notion, and Zoom, and incorporate feedback promptly.

Required profile

• Fluent in Arabic (spoken and written) with good English proficiency.
• 2‑3 years of video‑editing experience, preferably for YouTube or similar platforms.
• Self‑motivated, able to work independently and manage deadlines.
• Strong communicator comfortable with remote collaboration tools.
• Eager to grow with a channel and take ownership of creative direction.

Required skills

• Proficiency with video‑editing software of choice (e.g., Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve).
• Thumbnail creation using Canva or comparable design tools.
• Familiarity with cloud‑storage and collaboration platforms (Google Drive, Discord, Notion, Zoom).
