Accountant – Full‑Time Finance Role

About the role

Qureos Inc is looking for a meticulous Accountant to join its finance team. This full‑time position supports a dynamic trading company and its incubated start‑ups, ensuring accurate financial records and regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day accounting operations, including AP, AR, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations.
• Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for senior management.
• Assist in budgeting, financial forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Process payroll, VAT, and other tax submissions while ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
• Liaise with external auditors and provide documentation during audits.
• Analyse financial data, build models, and support strategic decision‑making.
• Provide financial guidance to start‑up businesses within the incubator.

Required profile

• Proven experience as an Accountant or in a similar financial role.
• Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, ACA) preferred; part‑qualified candidates with strong experience considered.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent analytical ability, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Required skills

• High proficiency in accounting software.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
