Adolescent Kit Trainer & Expert Consultant (Remote, 3 months)

About the role
This 3‑month remote consultancy supports the development and use of UNICEF’s Adolescent Kit to enhance skills‑based education, youth engagement and mental health and psychosocial support (MHPSS) for refugees and displaced children and adolescents.
Key responsibilities
- Provide technical assistance and develop new resources and tools for the Adolescent Kit.
- Lead youth‑led implementation and capacity‑building activities for UNICEF country teams and partners.
- Design and deliver trainings (in‑person and remote) for humanitarian and educational professionals.
- Monitor and evaluate programme outcomes using qualitative and quantitative methods.
Required profile
- Master’s degree in international affairs, development, education, psychology or related field.
- Minimum 10 years of professional experience in education or youth development within humanitarian or refugee contexts.
- Proven experience designing and implementing life‑skills, psychosocial support or youth development initiatives for ages 12‑25.
- Experience preparing proposals, reports and donor materials.
Required skills
- Knowledge of current research on adolescent education, socio‑emotional and life‑skills development.
- Familiarity with UNICEF, IASC and refugee policy frameworks and guidelines.
- Ability to apply qualitative and quantitative research and evaluation methods, including participatory approaches.
