Business Analyst Consultant – FMIS Project

About the role

The United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA) is seeking a Business Analyst Consultant to support the Financial Management Information System (FMIS) implementation at its headquarters in Amman. The consultant will work closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to gather requirements, design solutions and ensure successful deployment.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct business analysis and capture detailed business requirements for the FMIS project.
• Prepare and maintain Business Requirement Documents, functional specifications, workflows and process diagrams.
• Coordinate with developers, external vendors and UNRWA IMT teams to translate requirements into technical designs.
• Support solution design discussions, system configuration, data migration validation and testing (SIT, UAT, defect management).
• Develop user manuals, training materials and deliver training sessions to end‑users.
• Provide project governance, progress tracking, status reporting and ensure compliance with UNRWA standards.

Required profile

• University degree in IT, Computer Science, Business Administration or related field.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in web application development and enterprise application implementation.
• Fluency in both English and Arabic.

Required skills

• ASP.NET / ASP.NET MVC and .NET Core development.
• C# programming.
• JavaScript, HTML, CSS.
• MS SQL Server and relational database design.
• API development and integration.
• Experience with GIS integrations and dashboard creation (asset).
• Basic knowledge of DevOps practices and performance optimization.

What we offer

• Monthly remuneration of JOD 996.42.
• 9‑month consultancy based in Amman, Jordan.
