Business Development Manager – Fit-Out & Retail

About the role

Brand Aid Marketing Solutions is launching a new Fit‑Out & Retail Business Unit in Jordan. As the Business Development Manager you will lead the unit from inception through operational maturity, shaping its commercial strategy and building a profitable, scalable operation.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct a comprehensive market assessment across retail, commercial, hospitality, exhibition, activation and corporate sectors.
• Evaluate manufacturing and operational capabilities, decide the optimal delivery model (in‑house, outsourced or hybrid) and build a costed business case for any required investments.
• Identify, evaluate and onboard subcontractors, suppliers and strategic partners; negotiate SLAs, quality standards and commercial terms.
• Define the organisational structure, set up processes, pricing methodology and governance tools (including Odoo).
• Recruit and onboard the initial commercial and delivery team, and establish reporting and quality‑check templates.
• Build and manage a qualified client pipeline, lead proposals and pitches, and achieve launch‑phase revenue targets.
• Lead, coach and develop the commercial and delivery team as the unit grows, and represent the unit in group leadership forums.
• Define a phased roadmap for scaling the business into new sectors, countries and capacities.

Required profile

• Proven experience in business development, market assessment and commercial strategy within fit‑out, retail or related sectors.
• Strong analytical skills to evaluate capabilities, build business cases and define delivery models.
• Ability to negotiate contracts, manage supplier relationships and drive performance against KPIs.
• Leadership capability to build and develop a new team from the ground up.
• Excellent communication skills to present strategies and influence senior stakeholders.
