Chief Technology Officer and Co-Founding Partner

About the role

We are seeking a Chief Technology Officer and Co‑Founding Partner to lead the technology arm, Gojo Systems, of Checkers Inc. This partnership combines ownership with direct revenue share, allowing you to benefit from every deal you generate and from the growth of the team.

Key responsibilities

• Own the end‑to‑end technical direction, architecture, and delivery of client solutions.
• Select technology stack, define standards, and manage deployment processes.
• Collaborate with the commercial team to scope and price technical work.
• Represent the company in technical discussions with clients.
• Work closely with the CIO on internal systems and client projects.
• Recruit, train, and lead a growing development team while shaping engineering culture.

Required profile

• Minimum five years of professional full‑stack development experience with production‑grade systems.
• Hands‑on expertise across the stack used by the company.
• Proven track record of shipping SaaS or cloud‑based products to live users.
• Entrepreneurial mindset comfortable with partnership rather than a traditional reporting line.
