About the role
We are looking for a motivated Demi Chef De Partie (Pastry) to join the culinary team at Mövenpick Resort & Residences Aqaba. Working under the Pastry Chef, you will help produce high‑quality pastry items for buffet, à la carte and banquet services while maintaining strict hygiene standards.
Key responsibilities
- Assist the Chef de Partie in the preparation, cooking and presentation of all pastry items.
- Check taste, consistency and portion sizes of all prepared foods to avoid over‑production.
- Develop and test new pastry dishes and creative presentations.
- Monitor kitchen access and ensure only authorized personnel are present.
- Maintain proper storage of raw materials and discard any spoiled items.
- Inspect buffet, display and banquet set‑ups according to the Executive Chef’s specifications and correct any discrepancies.
- Station at the outlet kitchen or buffet during peak lunch and dinner periods to guarantee service standards.
- Participate in special projects and related duties as assigned.
