E&I Technician

About the role

Yokogawa is seeking an E&I Technician to perform installation, testing, calibration, troubleshooting, maintenance, loop checking, commissioning and support activities for electrical and instrumentation systems in industrial process plants, ensuring compliance with SABIC, Saudi Aramco and Yokogawa quality and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Install, calibrate, test and commission field instruments such as pressure, temperature, flow and level transmitters, control valves and positioners.
• Perform instrument loop checking, functional testing and impulse line/tubing installation.
• Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance of instrumentation and resolve faults.
• Verify instrument installations against approved drawings and datasheets.
• Install and terminate power and control cables, and perform continuity and insulation resistance tests.
• Install and maintain junction boxes, panels, marshalling cabinets, local control stations and lighting/power systems.
• Assist in energisation activities and troubleshoot electrical system faults.

Required profile

• Experience performing installation, testing, calibration, troubleshooting, maintenance, loop checking and commissioning of electrical and instrumentation systems in industrial process plants.
• Familiarity with quality and safety standards of SABIC, Saudi Aramco and Yokogawa.
