External Audit Senior Manager – Jordan

About the role

EY is seeking a Senior Manager to lead complex external audit engagements at its Jordan office. You will shape audit strategy, ensure high‑quality delivery, and mentor junior staff while building strong internal and client relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute audit strategies in collaboration with Associate Partners or Partners.
• Perform complex audit procedures and lead engagement teams as required.
• Organise staffing, track fees, and communicate financial and operational issues to project leaders.
• Identify and escalate audit risks, ensuring compliance with EY policies and protocols.
• Participate in business development initiatives and support the growth of the practice.

Required profile

• Minimum nine years of professional experience in external audit.
• Professional accounting qualification (ACCA, CPA, CA) and experience with a Big 4 firm.
• Experience with risk‑based audit processes and coaching/mentoring junior staff.
• Prior experience in the MENA region and proficiency in Arabic.
• Pro‑active, accountable, and results‑driven with strong resource‑management and communication skills.
