Facade Estimation Engineer

About the role

ASCO Aluminum is seeking a Facade Estimation Engineer to develop accurate cost estimates and proposals for aluminium and glass façade projects across commercial, residential and industrial sectors. The role involves close collaboration with design, fabrication and project teams to ensure competitive and compliant bids.

Key responsibilities

• Review tender documents, drawings and specifications to define scope, assumptions and exclusions.
• Perform quantity take‑offs for curtain walls, windows, doors, cladding, skylights and partitions.
• Analyse material, fabrication, labour, equipment, logistics and subcontractor costs.
• Prepare detailed BOQs, pricing sheets and bid packages in line with company standards.
• Draft technical and commercial proposals, clarifications and compliance statements.
• Participate in bid reviews, risk assessments and handover to project teams after award.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Civil, Architectural Engineering or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of façade systems, materials, fabrication processes and installation methods.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural and structural drawings and specifications.
• Understanding of industry standards and codes relevant to façades.
• Excellent analytical, numerical and negotiation skills with attention to detail.
• Effective communication and coordination abilities; capable of meeting tight deadlines.
• Good command of English; Arabic is an advantage.
