Freelance Biology & Python AI Trainer

About the role

We are looking for a freelance Biology & Python expert to design and evaluate AI training problems that simulate real-world computational biology workflows.

Key responsibilities

• Design original computational biology problems that reflect real research workflows.
• Create Python‑based challenges using libraries such as NumPy, SciPy and BioPython.
• Ensure problems are computationally intensive and require multi‑day reasoning.
• Develop tasks involving bioinformatics, systems biology, and molecular modeling.
• Base problems on actual research challenges or practical applications.
• Validate solutions with Python code and standard computational biology libraries.
• Document problem statements clearly and provide verified correct answers.

Required profile

• Degree in Biology or a related field.
• 2+ years of professional experience in research, applied work, or teaching.
• Strong written English (C1+).

Required skills

• Python programming.
• NumPy, SciPy, Pandas.
• BioPython (or similar bioinformatics libraries).
• Familiarity with MATLAB, R, C, SQL, Stata (optional).
• Experience with biological data analysis and bioinformatics tools.
