Freelance Mathematics & Python AI Trainer

About the role

We are looking for a freelance Mathematics & Python expert to support AI testing projects. You will design and validate computational mathematics problems that mimic real research workflows, helping improve AI systems.

Key responsibilities

• Design original mathematical problems in areas such as number theory, combinatorics, graph theory, and numerical analysis.
• Create Python‑based problem statements that require the use of libraries like NumPy, SciPy, and SymPy.
• Ensure problems are computationally intensive and cannot be solved manually within reasonable timeframes.
• Validate solutions by implementing them in Python and documenting correct answers.
• Base problem sets on real research challenges or practical applications.

Required profile

• Degree in Mathematics (pure or applied) or a closely related field.
• At least 2 years of professional experience in research, applied mathematics, or teaching.
• Strong written English proficiency (C1 level or higher).
• Familiarity with computational complexity theory and symbolic computation.

Required skills

• Python programming.
• NumPy, SciPy, SymPy.
• MATLAB, R, C, SQL, Pandas, Stata (or equivalent programming knowledge).

What we offer

• Compensation up to $35 per hour, depending on expertise and contribution speed.
