HR Business Analyst

About the role

Our HR team in Amman is looking for a detail‑oriented Business Analyst to turn recruitment data into actionable insights that guide strategic hiring decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Extract, analyse and synthesize data from iCIMS ATS, Excel tracking sheets and other sources to produce weekly, monthly and quarterly recruitment reports.
• Design and maintain Power BI/Tableau dashboards that provide real‑time visibility of time‑to‑fill, offer acceptance rates, candidate experience scores and other talent‑acquisition metrics.
• Calculate and monitor recruitment KPIs such as Time to Fill, Time to Respond, Interview‑to‑Offer ratios and employee turnover indicators.
• Conduct root‑cause and predictive analyses to identify bottlenecks, forecast hiring needs and recommend process improvements.
• Ensure data quality across systems through regular audits, validation rules and standardised data‑entry procedures.
• Present findings and actionable recommendations to talent‑acquisition leadership and business stakeholders.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in business, data or HR analytics.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, Data Science, Human Resources or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, XLOOKUP, Power Query) and experience with data‑visualisation tools such as Power BI or Tableau.

Required skills

• Advanced SQL (joins, window functions, CTEs) and data‑modelling.
• Python or .NET for data manipulation and ETL processes.
• Power BI/Tableau development, including DAX, semantic modelling and row‑level security.
• REST API integration, OAuth 2.0, Postman and JSON handling.
• Advanced Excel (pivot tables, XLOOKUP, Power Query).
