KG English Homeroom Teacher – Amman Academy

About the role

Amman Academy is seeking a passionate KG English Homeroom Teacher to join its bilingual English‑Arabic environment. You will be responsible for delivering high‑quality English instruction to Kindergarten students, fostering a love of language and storytelling.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging English lessons for KG learners.
• Prepare teaching resources and assess student progress regularly.
• Participate in written and subject‑specific assessments, demo classes and multiple interview stages as part of the recruitment process.
• Uphold school policies including Child Protection, Inclusion/SEN, Academic Honesty and Positive Behaviour Management.
• Collaborate with colleagues to align with the IB Programme Standards and the school’s AA Values.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in English literature or a related field.
• 0‑2 years of relevant teaching experience.
• Fluency in English; knowledge of the IB system is a plus.
• Commitment to the AA Values of Creativity, Integrity, Well‑being, Collaboration, Respect, Discipline and Educational Excellence.
