Knowledge Management Consultant – Remote (5.5 months)

About the role

UNICEF is seeking a Knowledge Management Consultant to support the Programme Planning, Monitoring and Research (PPMR) Section during a critical regional transition. The consultant will work remotely for 5.5 months, providing expertise in mapping, consolidating and migrating digital workspaces, knowledge repositories and evidence assets across the new ECAMENA structure.

Key responsibilities

• Map and consolidate existing knowledge repositories, digital workspaces and institutional documentation from MENARO and ECARO.
• Support migration of assets to the new ECAMENA digital environment, ensuring data integrity and accessibility.
• Maintain and update regional knowledge and evidence repositories, including the Knowledge@UNICEF platform and IMEP repository.
• Facilitate knowledge exchange and coordinate communities of practice across the MENA region.
• Produce knowledge products and support organizational learning initiatives while ensuring continuity of services.

Required profile

• Relevant experience in knowledge management, information management or similar fields within international organizations.
• Demonstrated ability to manage large‑scale digital transitions and documentation migration.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail.

Required skills

• Experience with knowledge management platforms (e.g., Knowledge@UNICEF, IMEP) and digital collaboration tools.
