Mathematics Teacher

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Mathematics Teacher to join our SABIS school network. The successful candidate will deliver the SABIS curriculum, support student achievement, and contribute to a vibrant learning environment.

Key responsibilities

• Teach mathematics classes using provided lesson plans or develop plans based on pacing charts.
• Mark examinations and assessments according to departmental schedules.
• Discuss disciplinary and performance issues with the Academic Quality Controller and Head of Department.
• Implement the SABIS Point System to maintain a conducive classroom environment.
• Proctor exams and ensure proper test conditions.
• Provide guidance and motivation to low‑performing students.
• Assist with external exam preparation and revision schedules.
• Perform additional duties such as substitute teaching, student supervision, and administrative tasks as assigned.
• Participate in student life activities and training sessions to enhance the SABIS system.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field.
• Proficiency in English.
• At least one year of teaching experience.
• Professional behavior, ethical conduct, and accountability.
• Strong communication skills and a commitment to continuous learning.
