Multimedia Content & Production Assistant (Daily Paid)

About the role

The United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA) in Jordan seeks a Multimedia Content and Production Assistant on a daily‑paid basis. The role supports the Public Information Office by creating high‑quality visual and multimedia content that documents UNRWA’s activities, events and donor engagements.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and conduct photography, videography and field production during UNRWA activities, events and donor missions across installations and refugee camps.
• Edit photos and videos for social media, websites, donor reports and other communication materials, including adding subtitles and captions.
• Design graphics, posters and infographics using tools such as Canva, Adobe Photoshop or Illustrator, ensuring consistency with UNRWA branding.
• Support the PIO/Liaison and Communications Officer in preparing visibility materials and coordinate content opportunities with programme and area colleagues.

Required profile

• Completion of secondary education.
• Minimum five years of professional experience in photography, videography, video editing or graphic design, preferably in an NGO or UN context.
• Portfolio demonstrating relevant work.
• Basic proficiency in English and Arabic.
• Familiarity with humanitarian or development settings is desirable.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Adobe Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Lightroom or similar editing software.
• Proficiency with Canva, Adobe Illustrator or comparable graphic‑design tools.
• Working knowledge of professional camera and audio‑recording equipment.
