People & Culture Manager

About the role

The People & Culture Manager will act as a trusted advisor to managers and colleagues, overseeing employee relations, talent acquisition, performance management, policy compliance and HR administration for Fairmont Amman.

Key responsibilities

• Provide guidance on People & Culture policies, support employee relations issues, conduct investigations and maintain documentation.
• Lead recruitment activities, partner with hiring managers, manage onboarding and monitor recruitment metrics.
• Administer performance review processes, coach leaders, coordinate learning, development and succession planning initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with employment legislation, company policies and collective agreements; maintain accurate employee records.
• Prepare payroll documentation for audits, coordinate year‑end reporting and support financial statement audits.
• Monitor staffing levels, maintain HRIS records and produce workforce analytics reports.
• Support People & Culture Coordinators, contribute to departmental planning, budgeting and special projects.
• Collaborate with operational teams, champion Fairmont’s culture and drive colleague engagement across the resort.

Required profile

• 4‑6 years of progressive HR or People & Culture experience, preferably in hospitality or luxury resort environments.
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field; professional HR designation (CPHR, SHRM‑CP, PHR) preferred.
• Strong understanding of employment legislation, excellent communication and conflict‑resolution skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Experience with Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS)
