Private Sector Fundraising Intern

About the role

This internship supports UNRWA's Private Sector Fundraising Division in Amman. Working under the Private Philanthropy Loyalty Officer, the intern will help design donor proposals, cultivate high‑value donors, and contribute to fundraising research and reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the High‑Value Donor unit in drafting concept notes, proposals and reports.
• Support donor cultivation activities, including webinars, seasonal outreach, loyalty gifts, and social‑media content.
• Help organize meetings, calls, field visits and develop branded items for partners.
• Research fundraising and networking opportunities and prepare materials for events.
• Conduct donor intelligence research to strengthen retention and cultivation.
• Compile data on key performance indicators and aid in quarterly reporting.

Required profile

• Enrolled in or recently graduated from a university program (Bachelor’s or higher) in Business Management, Communication, Marketing, International Relations, Journalism, Social Sciences or a related field.
• Service‑oriented mindset with strong collaboration and communication abilities.
• Excellent research, analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Detail‑oriented, proactive and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
