Production Supervisor – FMCG

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to lead our fast‑moving consumer goods (FMCG) manufacturing line. The role involves overseeing daily operations, ensuring product quality, safety, and meeting production targets in a food processing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, schedule and allocate manpower across multiple shifts.
• Monitor production performance indicators such as efficiency, productivity, downtime, waste and OEE.
• Conduct shift handover meetings, coach team members and manage performance.
• Ensure compliance with food safety and quality standards (GMP, GHP, HACCP, ISO 22000, FSSC 22000).
• Lead root‑cause analysis and drive continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Maintain accurate production reporting and documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Food, Industrial, Mechanical, Chemical Engineering, Dairy Technology or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in food manufacturing, preferably in dairy, processed cheese or UHT.
• Proven supervisory or leadership experience in a production environment.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities under pressure.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ERP systems (SAP preferred).
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Knowledge of GMP, GHP, HACCP, ISO 22000, FSSC 22000.
• Understanding of OEE, root‑cause analysis and continuous‑improvement methodologies.
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen and Six Sigma.
