Regional Business Development Specialist

About the role

The Regional Business Development Specialist will drive growth for Observer Technology & Solutions in Amman and surrounding markets. You will identify new business opportunities, build a robust sales pipeline, and present the company’s security and automation solutions to prospective clients.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct market research, map target accounts and monitor industry trends.
• Generate leads through calls, meetings, events and digital channels.
• Present Observer’s solutions, prepare proposals and support negotiations.
• Coordinate with technical and operations teams to align offerings with customer needs.
• Maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.
• Track activities and opportunities in CRM tools.
• Monitor competitors and provide regular performance and forecast reports to leadership.

Required profile

• Strong analytical and market‑research abilities.
• Excellent communication and customer‑service skills.
• Proven lead‑generation experience and a track record of building a regional sales pipeline.
• 5‑6 years of experience in business development, sales or account management, preferably in technology, security, IoT or related fields.
• Ability to work on‑site in Amman and travel within the region as needed.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
• Fluency in English; Arabic proficiency is an advantage.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CRM and productivity tools for account management and reporting.
