Regional People & Culture Partner – MENAU

About the role

The International Rescue Committee is seeking a Regional People & Culture Partner to lead HR strategy and operations across the Middle East, North Africa and Ukraine (MENAU) region. You will act as the bridge between regional HR leadership and country programs, ensuring that people practices support organizational growth and mission impact.

Key responsibilities

• Translate regional People & Culture strategies into actionable plans aligned with business goals.
• Integrate HR priorities across country programs, Centers of Excellence and regional leadership.
• Lead regional HR operations, performance management, data reporting and exit management.
• Conduct thorough investigations for regionally assigned employee‑relations cases and implement recommendations.
• Provide technical advice to country HR leads in coordination with global HR centers.
• Oversee talent acquisition and retention strategies to attract and keep top talent.

Required profile

• Solutions‑driven, passionate change‑maker with strong HR business partnering experience.
• Proven ability to manage complex employee‑relations investigations.
• Experience supporting large, multi‑country operations (1200+ staff) in a humanitarian or non‑profit context.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
